Members of Chambers are regularly engaged as mediators, adjudicators, facilitators and other third party neutrals offering early evaluation. Independent chairmen can be provided for round table meetings.

1 Chancery Lane operates its own Mediation Service which provides experienced mediators at highly competitive rates and can make available a dedicated modern venue.

Chambers is particularly strong in mediation advocacy, strategy and document preparation and has over the last 12 months provided lead party representatives on over 30 occasions in mediated Professional Indemnity claims (involving solicitors, architects, engineers and accountants), Contractual recovery, Travel, Banking and Insurance, Trusts and Estates, Boundaries and Easements, Personal Injury, Employment, Franchising, and Consumer Credit.  Andrew Goodman and Alastair Hammerton are authors of the practitioner book Mediation Advocacy (Xpl Professional Publishing).  In addition Chambers is strongly represented in the Standing Conference of Mediation Advocates.

Members of Chambers are particularly suited to undertake round table meetings as a form of case disposal, and 1 Chancery Lane's conference rooms are available for the purpose.
